Seed IP Law Group on list of Top 25 Growing Patent Firms from 2009 to 2018

Seed IP Law Group made the list of Top 25 Growing Patent Firms From 2009 to 2018, in a recent survey published by Juristat, a company specializing in patent data analytics. During the past decade, IP firms have dealt with a long list of shakeups, including the signing of the America Invents Act into law (2013), the Supreme Court decision in Alice Corp. vs. CLS Bank International (2014), and the USPTO’s attempts to deal with and regulate that decision.

By looking at data from the past ten years, Juristat identified the medium-to-large firms that grew the most in the last ten years. To determine this list, Juristat analyzed growth in applications from 2009 to 2018, limiting rankings to medium-to-large law firms (filing more than 250 applications per year) that existed in both 2009 and 2018. Additionally, this analysis was limited to utility and plant applications, excluding design patents, reissues, re-examinations, and provisional applications.
