Seed IP sponsors Seattle University School of Law Public Interest Law Foundation's Annual Dinner & Auction - February 29
Seed IP Law Group is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Seattle University School of Law Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) 27th Annual Dinner & Auction, taking place on February 29, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Seattle.
PILF is a student-led organization committed to increasing awareness of the rewards, challenges, opportunities, and needs in public interest law. Over the past two decades, PILF has created and supported a number of programs that enable students to explore and engage in public interest careers, such as the Law School’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program, job shadowing, networking events like the Evening with Equal Justice, and the PILF Summer Grant Program.
PILF also engages in major fundraising efforts through its Fall Pledge Drive and its Spring Dinner and Auction in support of the Summer Grant Program, which provides legal services to low-income and otherwise underserved individuals, organizations, and communities. This year, the Dinner and Auction focuses on “Visionaries”, and State Supreme Court Justice Mary Yu will provide the keynote address. The 2019 auction raised a net total of more than $116,000 and funded 23 summer grants for students working at public interest internships.
Seed IP is proud to continue its support for PILF, and several Seed IP personnel will attend the Dinner and Auction.
