Seed IP to host Open House during AIPLA (American Intellectual Property Law Association) 2023 Spring Meeting – May 12

About the AIPLA (American Intellectual Property Law Association) 2023 Spring Meeting:
Seed IP associate Tayah Woodard is scheduled to speak at the AIPLA (American Intellectual Property Law Association) 2023 Spring Meeting, taking place May 10-12, at The Westin Hotel in Seattle. Also scheduled to attend the 2023 Spring Meeting are Seed IP partners Hayley J. Talbert and Duncan Stark.
The AIPLA 2023 Spring Meeting will highlight hot topics in intellectual property, provide numerous networking opportunities and social gatherings, and showcase the work of AIPLA's 60+ committees. Seed IP's Tayah Woodard is scheduled to speak on Thursday, May 11, from 10:15-11:00 a.m. PST in a program entitled, "New Evidentiary Standards Muddy Opportunities for Generic Marks," which is part of the broader segment, Hot Topics for Trademark Owners: Parodies and Denials.
Tayah focuses her practice on IP defense, enforcement, and litigation matters, with a focus on trademark and copyright matters. She received her J.D. (cum laude) from University of Georgia School of Law in 2017.Tayah earned a B.S. (magna cum laude) in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2013. Tayah is admitted to the Georgia State Bar. She is a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
